Legume Burger

Cooking Method

In a bowl put the legumes, onion, parsley, carrot, garlic, paprika, and salt and pepper. Stir with our hands, mashing a few of the legumes. Gradually add the bread crumbs until the mixture has tightened. Shape the mixture into four large burgers , cover with foil and leave in the  refrigerator until cooked.

In another bowl, mix the chopped vegetables, squeeze a little bit of lime, add some salt and stir gently.

Heat a grill or a pan in high heat, sprinkle with a little olive oil and bake the burgers for about eight minutes on each side.

For the burger, spread the bottom with ketchup, place 1-2 iceberg lettuce leaves and the burger and add the topping mixture.
